Committee Abstract:

The World Health Organization (WHO) is one of the committees of the United Nations General Assembly. It addresses the health and well-being on human beings on the planet. In recent times the main focus of WHO is preventative measures. This means they are working towards combating diseases from spreading throughout the world. This is done through the 194 member countries which have more than 150 offices located throughout to help stop diseases. This committee will focus on two main issues the KIVU Ebola outbreak, and the second topic of HIV prevention in children. These are two major topics in today’s time and require the attention of the WHO body to help prevent the spreading of diseases as well as preventing diseases from coming to fruition to begin with
