JCC: The Plights of the Rapa Nui (Islanders)

Islanders-Rapa Nui.jpg

Committee ABSTRACT:

The mysterious island known as Rapa Nui, first settled in 350 AD by Polynesians, has entered the colonial sphere as British explorer James Cook reaches the island in 1774. As the 19th century approaches, the British have begun to expand their claim on the island, ravaging the land and tightening their grip on the Rapa Nui, pushing the islanders closer to complete destruction. Will the Rapa Nui be able to compromise and protect their island, or will the British conquer Easter Island? This committee will be a JCC between the Rapa Nui and the British.
